Stopping Time Itself / Product Photographer Bend Oregon
Water is a fascinating medium – in and out of the photo studio. Did you know, for example, that water has memory?
Meta-physical aspects aside however, the way we see and experience water on a daily basis is mostly pretty one-sided: flat, clear, still. Granted – it has its wild and violent side too, but for most people, the clear liquid-in-motion that comes out of the tap is primarily what they interact with. Only when we freeze time via photography do we get to truly study it, appreciate it, be astounded by its beauty and light, over and over again.
So I decided to experiment with the element in my studio yesterday. I will write up a more detailed post later on exactly how I achieved these images – and I can’t wait to use the techniques in a product shot I’m planning! Meanwhile though … ENJOY!
