Like many a town several hours away from the ocean, Bend, Oregon, has always struggled a bit with the notion of being able to provide truly fresh seafood to its foodie citizens.

But I learned the other day that one gourmet store is making a real effort to change that: the Newport Avenue Market.

How did I learn that? By spending two very long, very late, nights inside the store, shooting several hundred images of their mind-boggling variety of offerings for their upcoming website revamp.
